Do You Want Your Illness to Just Go Away?

Having a chronic illness can be very difficult and challenging. But when it has you, your life becomes much worse. It can seem unbearable.

Here’s what I mean: As you probably know all too well, living with a chronic illness often means having frequent or constant pain, fatigue, mobility concerns, relationship and intimacy challenges, and many more. And all those factors can make getting through each day very trying.

When Your Chronic Illness Has You, Living With It Can Be Overwhelming.

But in addition to dealing all those symptoms and challenges, we often worry about and dwell on thoughts about our illness getting worse. We may feel guilty because we see ourselves as inadequate parents and spouses. We can get angry and resentful because we feel that life is passing us by, and we may often wonder what we did to deserve our illness. All of these can cause us to feel helpless, anxious, and overwhelmed. Our lives become a whole lot harder, because not only do we have a chronic illness - our chronic illness has us.

You Don’t Need to Keep Suffering from Overwhelm, Anxiety, and Helplessness.
You Can Get Your Life Back!

Yes, you can get your life back - even if your chronic illness has you. You can manage your symptoms, even the worst ones. You can have a life that gives you satisfaction and joy. And as you start make these changes, it's very possible that your symptoms will lessen.

My name is Tom Robinson. Like you, I live with a serious chronic illness (Crohn’s disease, which I’ve had for almost 14 years). For the first three of those years, my Crohn's disease had me. My life was all about my illness: struggling to survive with my awful symptoms and get up and get through each day, wanting to have friends and family to understand how bad my life was, searching far and wide for the medical care I needed, and trying to not lose my job. Life often felt unbearable, and looking back, I sometimes wonder how I got through that very difficult time.

But I did get through. I learned how to have a chronic illness without it having me. And my symptoms lessened and I'm very grateful that I have a life I truly love.

My healing journey gave me a deep appreciation for health and wellbeing, and led me to make it my life’s work to help others to heal.

My mission as a coach for people with chronic illnesses is to help you get your life back so you can live the best life you possibly can. To do that, I’ve written a

Tom, what you taught me in my session has made an amazing difference in the way I deal with my chronic illness. I’ve been able to keep doing it on my own, and the feeling is wonderful. Thank you so much.”

The report is yours free with my best wishes. You will also receive my biweekly “How to Have a Better Life When You Have a Chronic Illness” tips (which you can easily unsubscribe from at any time) To get them, just enter your information below and then click on Submit.
